This poster covers the following information: Measles spreads easily. If you have measles symptoms, immediately report your symptoms to medical staff. The most common symptoms of measles are a fever and a rash. Other symptoms include:
- High fever (may spike to more than 104°F)
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Red, watery eyes
- Rash that breaks out 3-5 days after symptoms begin
Measles can be dangerous, especially for babies and young children. Vaccination is the best protection against measles. Vaccines are available. Get the measles vaccine when it is offered by medical staff.
