Washing your hands is the best way to stop germs from spreading. This is a series of 60-second videos spoken in a range of languages, with in-language subtitles, demonstrating how to wash hands. All languages have transcripts available. Transcript:
- Wet hands with warm water.
- Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces.
- Rub hands palm to palm.
- Rub palm to back of hands with fingers interlaced.
- Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced.
- Curl fingers to rub fingernails against palms.
- Grab each thumb and rotate back and forth.
- Rub fingertips up and down against palms.
- Rinse hands with water.
- Dry hands with a clean towel.
- Turn off water with towel.
