Archived Webinar: Group Work With Survivors of Torture: Engaging Communities
This webinar reviewed what survivors of torture (SoT) programs can do to create their own group interventions and to collaborate with other organizations to facilitate interventions in the larger community. It examined what kind of consultative oversight may work for your organization and how distance supervision can facilitate these group endeavors. The webinar gave recommendations for providing group work with survivors of torture in both an organization-based and community-based setting. The e-consultation reviewed how these interventions take place in the real world, including the challenges and pitfalls. This resource is available on the website for the Center for Victims of Torture National Capacity Building Project.
