This module explains the foundational skills of empathic communication. You will learn what empathic communication is, what foundational skills you need to communicate empathically, and how to use empathic communication techniques with your clients. It is designed for direct services staff and supervisors in Resettlement, Asylum & Integration contexts who support refugees, asylees, asylum-seekers, and other clients impacted by forced displacement.
