Newcomer integration depends on countless individual and systemic factors, and feeling empowered in accessing services in a new community is an essential indicator of success. Newcomer service providers can play a major role in supporting newcomer access to resources in their communities, but it can be tough to know where to start in addressing the many barriers newcomers face in fully taking advantage of what is available to them. This infographic serves as a training-based community resource map for service providers promoting newcomer integration across common integration focus areas. Service providers, community sponsors, and volunteers are encouraged to explore these core resources that can inform their community engagement efforts and provide tools to use directly with newcomer clients they serve.
