These self-assessment tools, developed by the International Rescue Committee, are designed to help refugee service providers, both front line staff and program managers, to identify the current stage of their service delivery and the key components of successful refugee service provision in a variety of areas. Included are assessments for the provision of:
- Case management services
- Early employment and career development programming
- Financial literacy and microenterprise programming
- Cultural orientation
- Interpreter services
- Community engagement
- Volunteer programming
Each tool provides an inventory and roadmap for successful practice in a particular service delivery area. The tools are useful for identifying gaps and remedies in service provision, developing program frameworks and planning organizational strategy.
