What will this webinar cover?
On June 9, 2023, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced a new, streamlined process for certain Afghan newcomers to extend or renew their original parole period in the United States. This webinar will provide an overview of the new process for extending or renewing parole and will help participants gain confidence in filing the application or assisting someone else in doing so.

This webinar is geared toward lawyers and accredited representatives who will be assisting with the filing of re-parole applications for Afghan humanitarian parolees.

After participating in this 90-minute session, you will be able to:  

  • Determine which Afghan newcomers qualify for re-parole
  • Describe why re-parole is important
  • List and address common filing concerns
