Guide: Presenter’s Guide for Refugee Service Providers
Refugee service providers conduct trainings and presentations for a variety of reasons and audiences. These presentations may be to orient new staff, recruit volunteers/mentors, increase awareness on refugee issues or to raise funds. Public speaking can be challenging. However, armed with a few basic presentation skills, proper preparation and practice it is possible to become an effective presenter. To assist with this activity, Project SOAR developed the Presenter’s Guide. The booklet serves to assist refugee service providers in conducting informative, effective and successful presentations.
