Polio spreads easily. Most people who get infected with poliovirus (about 72%) will not have any visible symptoms. People with symptoms will have:
- Sore throat
- Fever
- Tiredness
- Nausea
- Headache
- Stomach pain
These symptoms usually last 2 to 5 days. If you have polio symptoms, immediately report your symptoms to medical staff. Get the polio vaccine if it is offered by medical staff.
