This June 18, 2012 webinar introduces clinical providers, health care administrators and social service providers to the Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards, issued in 2001 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Minority Health. There is a specific focus on defining racially-based oppression and its impact within a clinical setting. It also emphasizes the importance of implementing CLAS standards from a service, legal, and financial perspective.
