National Engagement on Form I-730 Refugee/Asylee Follow-to-Join Processing

Description: USCIS invites you to participate in a virtual stakeholder engagement on the processing of Form I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition, on Thursday, July 21, from 2-3 p.m. Eastern. The Form I-730 is used by certain principal refugees and asylees to request follow-to-join benefits for their qualifying spouse and/or unmarried children under 21 years of age. This national engagement will be an opportunity for USCIS to provide operational and policy updates relating to Form I-730 processing and communicate our goals for improving the process. USCIS is committed to its humanitarian mission and implementing new changes to ensure petitions and applications are adjudicated in a timely and efficient manner.

To Register:

  1. Visit our registration page
  2. You will be asked to sign up for updates or to access your subscriber preferences, please enter your email address and select “Submit.”
  3. Select “Subscriber Preferences”
  4. Select the “Questions” tab
  5. Complete the questions and select “Submit.” Once we process your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details including how to submit questions in advance by June 20, 2022. We will not address case-specific questions, questions outside the scope of the engagement, or issues under litigation.
