This course develops strategies for addressing communication challenges between employers and job developers. It is targeted at refugee service providers, including job developers, employment specialists, and those in similar roles.
After completing this 21-minute course, you will be able to:
- Identify potential differences in language and culture between job developers and potential employers;
- Use key “do’s” and “don’ts” of connecting with employers in your own communication strategies; and
- Develop strategies for handling employer objections.
