Paige Vogel is the Economic Integration Program Manager at Jewish Family Service of Seattle. Having supported refugee and immigrant communities in the Seattle/ King County area for the past five years, Paige led JFS' Economic Integration Program's shift to longer term integration support, including more holistic case management services, career laddering and an increased focus on financial health. Committed to refugee and immigrant communities' economic stability and integration, Paige has a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology from Western Washington University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Jurisprudence with the University of Washington.
Leveraging Volunteers Remotely during COVID-19 to Support Ongoing Economic Integration

With the economic and health crises that came with COVID-19, many service providers were forced to shift priorities with clients. To ensure we did not lose sight of our long-term integration work with clients, we utilized the greater community, including volunteers, to support clients with professional development, professional networking, and complex financial systems navigation. This post provides ideas for leveraging volunteers remotely to support ongoing economic integration for refugees and asylees.
